None of Us Knew What Was Coming
None of Us Knew What Was Coming
Blog Article
None of us saw it coming—not the silence, not the shift, not the weight of it all. We were busy, distracted, scrolling, laughing, planning. Life moved quickly, and we kept pace. But then, something shifted. The world exhaled, and everything paused. Streets emptied. Voices softened. Screens became lifelines. In that stillness, we saw each other differently—fragile, resilient, flawed, human.
None of us were truly prepared. Not for the distance, or the longing, or the strange comfort of slowing down. We learned things we didn’t expect: how much we missed connection, how strong we could be alone, how loudly quiet can echo.
It changed us. Maybe not forever, maybe just enough. But something broke and bloomed in that space. And while we didn’t see it coming, we carry it with us now—in our choices, our pace, our hearts. None of us. But all of us, too.
